We’re thrilled to kick off our first performance of the year with a school show, touring our original musical ventriloquist performance, A Birdy Told Me So. Magrau the bird puppet is warmed up, ready to sing, and very excited to meet new audiences.

A Birdy Told Me So is a heart-filled musical ventriloquism show for schools and theatres, all about resilience, imagination, and never giving up. Through storytelling, live singing, and interactive puppetry, young audiences are invited into a world where puppets really do have something to say. It’s playful, funny, and layered with meaning—perfect for assemblies, theatre stages, and family-friendly festivals.

Introducing a New Song: That Groovy Feeling

This spring and summer, audiences at festivals and theatres will hear a brand-new song: “That Groovy Feeling.” This upbeat, feel-good tune will be performed live on stage and is already a favourite of Magrau’s.

Like all of my original music, That Groovy Feeling began as a little cartoon playing in my imagination. This one starts quietly—Magrau and I sitting together under a tree—and grows into a musical conversation between a bird puppet and a ventriloquist. It’s a song you can move and groove to, inviting audiences to feel the joy right along with us.

Festival-Ready Fun: Laughing Out Loud
