I can’t believe it is almost August. Actually, I CAN believe it since summer has always flown by ever since I was a kid. Being together with family and friends, performing outdoors and indoors has been a blast this summer. Hope you can join us for some shows that are coming in August with Kamilla a frog and Magrau the bird in all their colourful zaniness. 

August 1 and Aug 15 at 2pm we are at Summer Stages in Burnaby at Confederation Park’s stage for their free concert series! We really enjoy performing there and the water park is right next door. We are also super excited to perform at Douglas Park Community Centre in Vancouver on August 3 at 6pm outdoors or in the gym in case of rain. Music with Marnie is also performing there August 17. Marnie and I did our musical shows back in the day over 20 years ago at the HR MacMillan Space Centre’s Planetarium where we performed live and on screen in our two separate shows so I’ve known Marnie for a long time and she is a gem! 

The puppets and I fly to Burns Lake Centennial Celebration August 19^th! We have been back and forth to Burns Lake so many times doing Spring Break Puppet Making Workshops, school shows and their Fall Fair and are happy to return to see old friends and meet new ones. It’s a pretty cool thing to be able to interact with the kids in different cities as they grow up. 

After that, we fly into Smithers for the Bulkley Valley Exhibition August 24,25,26 and 27 where we will share the stage with Uncle Chris the clown who keeps audiences laughing including me when I’m backstage!

Through the summer into the Fall, I continue to teach ventriloquism online, present puppet making workshops and I’m happy to announce I’m writing new music and a brand new show!
