Booking our spring summer shows now, puppet making workshops and ventriloquist roving.
Give us a shout!

Hello 2025! I’ve been waking up with a spring in my step, humming the new tunes I will be singing live on stage this summer!
For the past few years, I’ve been humming new musical hooks and lyrics into my phone and my note books are full of scratches that only I can understand (trust me.) Some songs have been a long time taking shape, while others came together in just a few minutes.
The cool thing about making music is that I get to work with my brother Rafe Haines who is a very talented musician and school director of music at for elementary students and preschool students from 2 years and up. When we talk shop on the phone (he lives in Victoria BC) he helps me with chordal structure and lyrics, and when we are together… we jam. This December we sat in my living room creating music and PLAYING just like old times.
Writing new music with my brother is exciting to me. Rafe understands how my brain works. He’s used to puppet’s voices coming out of nowhere. We grew up together on a farm in Southern Ontario. As young children Rafe got drums and I got a puppet the same year. You could say the rest is history. It’s pretty cool actually.

Music and ventriloquism played a big part in our childhood. When our parents would invite friends and cousins over, the living room would be filled with music. My brother Rafe went on to study music and education while I studied theatre. Performing and music became a confidence booster for us as kids. We started practising as young children and as grownup professionals, we are both grateful to be able to do what we love for a living.

So drumroll please… hope to see you this Spring and Summer on stage, school gyms and on lawns and outdoor settings. We are booking children’s festivals, fairs, community events and theatres! If you are looking for interactive and funny ventriloquist shows with lots of music you can dance and groove to…let us know. Themes like “never giving up” and “being yourself” are big in our shows. You can bet that Magrau the bird and Kamilla the frog will be up to their usual puppety antics.
So thanks Rafe for sharing your talents with me to create fun music! Thanks also to our Mom who instilled a love of music in us. I’m presently on a visit to Ontario and I love listening her play the piano that my brother Rafe bought her. You should hear her play the BOOGIE WOOGIE!
Happy Winter…
